Who will enter the Gate

The earth and everything on it belong to the Lord. The world and its people belong to Him. The Lord placed it all on the oceans and rivers. Who may climb the Lord’s hill or stand in his holy temple?

Only those who do right for the right reason, and don’t worship idols or tell lies under oath. The Lord God who saves them, will bless and reward them, because they worship and serve the God of Jacob. Open the ancient gates, so that the glorious king may come in. Who is this glorious king? He is our Lord, a strong and mighty warrior.      

The good shepherd

You Lord are my shepherd. I will never be in need. You let me rest in fields of green grass. You lead me to streams of peaceful water, and you refresh my life.

You are true to your name and you lead me along the right paths.

I may walk through valleys as dark as death, but I won’t be afraid.

You are with me, and your shepherd’s rod make me feel safe.

You treat me to a feast, while my enemies watch.You honour me as your guest, and you fill my cup until it overflows.

Your kindness and love will always be with me each day of my live, and I will live for ever in your house Lord.

Ask & knock

Ask you will receive. Search and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you everyone  who asks will receive. Everyone who searches will find. And the door will be opened for everyone who knock. Would any of you give your hungry child a stone, if the child asked for  some bread. Would you give your child a snake if the child asked for a fish. As bad as you are, you still know how to give good gifts to your children. But your heavenly Father is even more ready to give good things to people who ask.          

Light

Your eyes  are like window  for your body when they are good, you have all the light you need.  But when your eyes are bad, everything is dark. If the light inside you is dark, you really are in the dark

Prayer

When you pray, don’t be like those  show off who love to stand up and pray in the meeting places and on the street corners. They do this just to look good. I can assure you that they already have their reward. When you pray, go in to the room alone and close the door. Pray to your Father in private. He knows what is done in private and He will reward you.
