Holy spirit and fire

I baptise you with water so that you'll give up your sin. But someone more powerfull is going to come, and I'm not good enough even to carry  his sandals. He'll baptise you with the holy Spirit and with fire. His threshing fork is in His hand and He is ready to separate the wheat from the husks. He'll store the wheat in barn and burn the husks in a fire  thet never goes out.    

Judgement

Zephaniah 1:7

Be silent! I am the Lord God, and time is near. I am preparing to sacrifice my poeple and to invite My guests. On that day I will punish national leaders and sons of the king,  along with all who follow foreign customs.

Warning to the rich

You rich people should cry and weep! Terrible things are going to happen to you. Your treasures have already rotted, and moth have eaten your clothes. Your money has rusted, and the rust will be evidence against you, as it burns your body like fire. Yet you keep on storing up wealth in these last days. You refused to pay people who worked in your fields, and now their unpaid wages are shouting out against you. The Lord all powerfull has surely heard the cries of the workers who harvested your crops. While here on earth, you have thought only of filling your own stomachs and having agood time. But now you are like fat cattle on their way  to be butchered. You have condemned and murdered innocent people, who couldn’t even fight back.     

James 5:1

  

The Word became a human

The Word became a human being and lived here with us. We saw his true glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father. From Him all the kindness and all the truth of God have come down to us

God Loved

God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never really die. God did not send His Son in to the world to condemn its people. He send Him to save them!. no one who has faith in God's Son will condemned. but everyone who doesn't have faith in Him has already been condemned for not having faith in God's only Son.

John 3:16   

A Child Has Been Born

A child has been born for us. we have been given a Son who will be our ruler. His name will be Wonderful Advisor and Migthy God, Eternal Father and Prince of Peace.
His power will never end; peace will last for ever. He will rule David's kingdom and make it grow strong.
He will always rule with honesty and justice.

Jesus Teaches and Heals

Jesus went all over Galilee, teaching in the Jewish meeting places and preaching the good news about God's kingdom. He also healed every kind os disease and sickness. News about Him spread all over syria and people with every kind of sickness or disease were brought to Him. some of them had a lot demons in them, others were thought to be mad and still others couldn't walk. but Jesus healed them all  

Lazarus and the Rich man

There was  once rich man  who wore expensive clothes and every day ate the best food. but a poor beggar named Lazarus was brought to the gate of the rich man's house. he was happy just to eat the scraps that fell  from the rich man's table. his body was covered with sores and dogs kept coming up to lick them. the poor man died and angels took him to the place of honour next to Abraham. the rich man also died and was buried. he want to hell and was suffering terribly. when he looked up and saw Abraham far off and lazarus at his side he said to Abraham , "have pity on me! send Lazarus to dip his finger in water and touch my tongue. i'm suffering terribly in this fire," Abraham answer "my friend remember  taht while you lived, you had everything good and Lazarus had everything bad. now he is happy and you are in pain and besides, there is a deep valley between us, and no one from either side can cross over,"
But the rich man said "Abraham, then please send Lazarus to my father's home, let him warn my five brothers, so they won't come to this horrible place."
Abraham answered, "your brothers can read what moses and the prophets wrote. thay should pay attention to that."
then the rich man said, "no, that's not enough! if only someone from the dead would go them, they would listen and turn to God."
So Abraham said, "if they won't pay attention to moses and the prophet, they won't listen even to someone who come back from the dead."                 

Trust God

My child remember my teaching and instructions and obey them completely. they will help you live a long and prosperous life. let love and loyalty always show like necklace, and write them in your mind.
Don't ever think that you are wise enough, but respect the Lord and stay away from evil. this will make you healty and you feel strong. honour the Lord by giving him your money and the first part of all your crops. then you will have more grain and grapes than you ever need.

Teaching with stories

Jesus used stories when He spoke to the people. in fact, He didn't tell them anything without using stories. so God's promise came true, just as the prophet had said, "I will used stories to speak my message and to explain things that have been hidden since the creation of the world."

A Hidden Treasure

The Kingdom of Heaven is like what happens when someone finds treasure hidden  in a field and buries it again. A person like that is happy and goes and sell everything in order to buy that field.

The Day of judgement

The Lord said : The day of judgement is certain to come. and it will be like a red-hot furnace with flames that burn up proud and sinful people, as thought they were straw. not a branch or a root will be left. I the Lord all powerful have spoken but for you that honour My name victory will shine like the sun with healing in its rays and you will jump around like calves at play

Stay awake

Can't any of you stay awake with Me for just one hour? Stay awake and pray that you won't be tested. You want to do what right, but you are weak

Treasures in Heaven

Don't store up treasure on earth! Moths and rust can destroy them, and thieves can break in and steal them. instead, store up your treasures in Heaven, where moths and rust can't destroy them, and thieves can't break in and steal them. your heart will always be where your treasure is.

Warning

Evil will spread and cause many people to stop loving others. But if you keep on being faithful right to the end, you will be saved. when the good news about the kingdom has been preached all over the world and told to all nation, the end will come

Jesus heals two blind men

Jesus was followed by a large crowd as He and his disciples were leaving jericho. two blind men were sitting beside the road. and when they heard that Jesus was coming their way, they shouted, "Lord and Son of David have piti on us!". the crowd told themto be quiet, but they shouted even louder, "Lord and Son of David, have piti on us!". when Jesus heard them, He stopped and ask , "what do you want Me to do for you?". they answered, "Lord, we want to see!". Jesus felt sorry for them and touched their eyes. straight away they could see, and they became his followers.     

Giving

When you do good deeds, don't try to show off. If you do, you won't get a reward from your Father in Heaven. When you give to the poor, don't blow your own trumpet. That's what show off do in the meeting room places and on the street corner, because they are always looking for praise. I can assure you that they already have their rewards. 

Forgive

If you forgive others for the wrongs they do to you, your Father in Heaven will forgive you

To the end

But if you keep on being faithful right to the end, you will be saved. when the good news about the kingdom has been preached all over the world and told to all nations, the end will come. 

The most important Commandment

Jesus answered : "love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. this is the first and most important commandment. the second most important commandment islike this one and it is, "love others as much as you love yourself."   

Jesus puts a curse on a fig tree

when Jesus got up the next morning He was hungry, He started out for the city, and along the way He saw a fig tree, but when He came to it, He found only leaves and no figs, so He told the tree "you will never again grow any fruits!" just then the fig tree dried up. the disciples were shocked when they saw how quickly the tree had dried up, but Jesus said to them, "if you have faith and don't doubt, I promise that you can do what I did to this tree. and you will be able  to do even more.   

Eternal live

Jesus answered "Yes all of you have become my followers. and so in the future world, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, I promise that you will sit on 12 thrones to judge the 12 tribes of Israel. all who have given up home or brothers and sisters or fathers and mother or children or land for Me will given 100 times as much, they will also have eternal life  

Give His life

But don't act like them. if you want to be great, you must be the servant of all the others. and if you want to be first, you must be the slave of the rest. The Son of Man did not come to be a slave master, but a slave who will give his life to rescue many people.     

Rise to life

While Jesus and His disciples were going from place to place in Galilee, He told them, "The Son of man will be handed over to people who will kill Him. but three days later He will rise to life." all of this made the disciples very sad. 

Messiah

Six days later Jesus took Peter and the brothers James and John with Him. they went upon a very high mountain where they could  be alone. there in front of the disciples, Jesus was completely changed. His face was shining like the sun, and His clothes became as white as light. all at once Moses and Elijah were there talking with Jesus so Peter said to Him, "Lord it's good for us to be here! let us make three shelters, one for You, one for Moses, and one for elijah,". while Peter was still speaking, the shadow of a bright cloud passed over them. from the cloud a voice said, "This is my own dear Son, and I am pleased with Him."       

Who is Jesus

When Jesus and His disciples were near the town of Caesarea Philippi, He asked them "what do people say about the Son of Man?"
Simon Peter spoke up "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God"
Jesus told him :
Simon, son of Jonah, you are blessed!you didn't discover this on your own. It was shown to you by my Father in Heaven.

Walks on the water

Straight away Jesus made His disciples get into a boat and start back across the lake. but He stayed until He had sent the crowds away. then He went up on amountain where He could be alone and pray. later that evening, He was still there. by this time the boat was a long way from the shore. it was going against the wind and was being tossed around by the waves. a little while before morning Jesus came walking on the water towards His disciples. when they saw Him, they thought He was a ghost. they were terrified and started screaming. at once Jesus said to them, "don't worry! I am Jesus, don't be afraid". Peter replied, "Lord, if it is really You, tell me to come to You on the water". "come on!" Jesus said. Peter then got out of the boat and started walking on the water  towards Him. but Peter saw how strong the wind was, he was afraid and start sinking. "save me Lord!" he shouted. at once, Jesus reached out his hand, He helped Peter up and said, "you certainly do not have much faith, why do you doubt?". when Jesus and Peter got into the boat, the wind died down. the men in the boat worshipped Jesus and said "You are really the Son of God".

                       

Farmer

Now listen to the meaning of the story about the farmer : the seeds that fell along the road are the people who hear the message about the kingdom, but do not understand it. Then the evil one comes and snatches the message from their hearts. the seeds that fell on rocky ground are the people who gladly hear the message and accept it straight away  but they do not have deep roots, and they do not last very long. as soon as life gets hard or the message gets them into trouble, they give up. the seeds that fell among the thorn bushes are also people who hear the message but, they start worrying about the needs of this life and are fooled by the desireto get rich. so the message gets choked out, and they never produce anything.the seeds that fell on good ground are the people who hear and understand the message  they produce as much as 100 or 60 or 30 times what was planted 

Come to Me

If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to Me and I will give you rest. Take the yoke, I give you. Put it on your shoulders and learn from Me. I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest. This yoke is easy to bear, and this burden  is light.

Marilah kepadaKu semua yang letih lesu dan berbeban berat, Aku akan memberi kelegaan kepadamu. Pikullah kuk yang Kupasang dan belajarlah kepadaKu, karena Aku lemah lembut dan rendah hati, dan jiwamu akan mendapat ketenangan. Sebab kukyangKupasang itu enak dan beban Kupun ringan.           

Welcome

Anyone who welcomes you welcomes Me. And anyone who welcomes Me also welcomes the one who sent Me. Anyone who welcomes a prophet, will be given the same rewards as a prophet. Anyone who welcomes a good person, just because that person is good that person is good, will be given the reward as a good person. And anyone who gives one of My most humble followers a cup of cool water, just because that person is My followers, will surely be rewarded.

   

Belong to Me

If you tell others that you belong to Me, I will tell My Father in heaven that you are My followers. But if you reject Me, I will tell My Father in heaven that you do not belong to Me.

Setiap orang yangmengakui Aku di depan manusia, Aku juga akan mengakuinya di depan Bapaku di sorga. Tetapi barangsiapa menyangkal Aku di depan manusia, Aku juga akan menyangkalnya di depan Bapaku di sorga  

Solid Rock

 Anyone who hears and obeys these teachings of mine is like a wise person who built a house on solid rock, rain poured dow, rivers flooded, and winds beat against that house, but it didn't fall, because it was built on solid rock.  

Go to the Father

I'm the way, the truth, and the life!" Jesus answered. "Without me, no one can go to the Father. if  you had known Me, you would have known the Father. but from now on, you do know Him, and you have seen Him

Kata Yesus kepadanya : "Akulah jalan dan kebenaran dan hidup. Tidak ada seorangpun yang datang kepada Bapa, kalau tidak melalui Aku. Sekiranya kamu mengenal Aku, pasti kamu juga mengenal BapaKu. sekarang ini kamu mengenal Dia dan kamu telah melihat Dia."   

 

father's House

Jesus said to his disciples, "don't be worried! have faith in God and have faith in Me, there are many rooms in my Father's house, I wouldn't tell you this, unless it was true. I'm going there to prepare a place for each of you. After I've done this, I'll come back and take you with Me. Then we'll be together.

"Janganlah gelisah hatimu; percayalah kepada Allah, percayalah juga kepadaKu, dirumah BapaKu banyak tempat tinggal, jika tidak demikian, tentu Aku mengatakannya kepadamu, sebab Aku pergi kesitu untuk menyediakan tempat bagimu, dan apabila Aku telah pergi kesitu dan telah menyediakan tempat bagimu, Aku akan datang kembali dan membawa kamu ke tempatKu, supaya ditempat dimana Aku berada, kamupun berada.      

Father

Jesus replied: if anyone loves Me, they will obey Me. Then my Father will love them, and We will come to them and live in them. But anyone who doesn't love Me won't obey Me, what they have heard Me say doesn't really come from Me, but from the Father who sent Me.

Jawab Yesus : jika seseorang mengasihi Aku, ia akan menuruti firmanKu dan BapaKu akan mengasihi dia dan Kami akan datang kepadanya dan diam bersama-sama dia. barangsiapa tidak mengasihi Aku, ia tidak menuruti firmanKu, dan firman yang kamu dengar itu bukanlah dari padaKu, melainkan dari Bapa yang mengutus Aku.         

Faith

After Jesus left in a boat with his disciples, a terrible storm suddenly struck the lake, and waves started splashing into their boat. Jesus was sound a sleep, so the disciples went over to him and woke Him up. They said, "Lord, save us! we're going to drown!" But Jesus replied, "why are you so affraid? you certainly don't have much faith." then He got up and ordered the wind and the waves to calm down. and everything was calm. the man in the boat were amazed and said, "Who is this? even the wind and the waves obey HIM".

        Lalu Yesus naik ke dalam perahu dan murid-muridnya pun mengikutiNya. sekonyong-konyong mengamuklah angin ribut di danau itu, sehingga perahu itu ditimbus gelombang, tetapi Yesus tidur, maka datanglah murid-muridNya membangunkan Dia, katanya "Tuhan tolonglah kita binasa " lalu Ia berkata kepada mereka " mengapa kamu takut, kamu yang kurang percaya?", lalu bangunlah Yesus menghardik angin dan danau itu, maka danau itu menjadi teduh sekali, dan heranlah orang-orang itu katanya " Orang apakah Dia ini, sehingga angin dan danaupun taat kepadaNya?."   

Food

Jesus answer, "The scriptures say : No one can live only on food. People need every word that God has spoken".
Tetapi Yesus Menjawab : " ada tertulis Manusia hidup bukan dari roti saja, tetapi dari setiap firman yang keluar dari mulut Allah".

Judgment

Then they said "Teachers this  woman was caught sleeping with a man who is not her husband. the Law of Moses teaches that a woman like this should be stoned to death! what do You say?"   

They asked Jesus this question, because they wanted to test Him and bring some charge against Him. But Jesus simply bend over and started writting on the ground with his finger. they kept on asking Jesus about the woman. finally He stood up and said, "if any of you have never sinned, then go ahead and throw the first stone at her!. once again He bend over and began writing on the ground. the people left one by one, beginning with the oldest. finally, Jesus and the woman were there alone.  

Your soul

What will you gain, if you own the whole world but destroy your self? What would you give to get back your soul? 

Apa gunanya seseorang memperolehseluruh dunia tetapi kehilangan nyawanya? Dan apakah yang dapat diberikannya sebagai ganti nyawanya?

Little Child

Don't be cruel to any of these little ones, promise you that there angels are always with my father in heaven, let me ask you this. what would you do if you had 100 sheep and one of them wandered off? wouldn't you leave the 99 on the hillside to go and look for the one that had wandered away? I'm sure that finding it would make you happier than having the 99 that never wandered off. That's how it is with your Father in Heaven. He doesn't want any of these little ones to be lost.

Ingatlah jangan menganggap rendah seorang dari anak-anak kecil ini. karena Aku berkata kepadamu ada Malaikat mereka di Sorga yang selalu memandang wajah Bapaku yang diSorga.karena Anak Manusia datang untuk menyelamatkan yang hilang.  
Bagaimana pendapatmu jika seorang mempunyai 100 ekor domba dan seekor diantaranya sesat, tidaklah ia akan meninggalkan yang 99 ekor dipegunungan dan pergi mencari yang sesat itu? dan Aku berkata kepadamu : sesungguhnya jika ia berhasil menemukannya, lebih besar kegembiraannya atas yang seekor itu daripada atas yang ke 99 ekor yang tidak sesat. Demikian juga Bapamu yang diSorga tidak menghendaki supaya seorangpun dari anak anak ini hilang.   

Trust God

Jesus Name

Meaning: salvation, or “the Lord is salvation,” “the Lord Saves.”

“Jesus” is the Greek form of the Hebrew name Joshua which was originally Hoshea (Oshea) (Num. 13:8, 16 - the King James Version of the Bible spells it “Oshea”), but changed by Moses into Jehoshua (Num. 13:16; 1 Chr. 7:27), or Joshua. After the Exile it assumed the form Jeshua, from which came the Greek form Jesus. It was given to our Lord to denote the object of his mission, to save. An angel told Joseph (his foster-father), “You are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins” (Matt. 1:21).

JESUS CHRIST - Je'sus, the proper, as Christ is the official, name of our Lord. To distinguish him from others with the same name, he is spoken of as “Jesus of Nazareth” (John 18:7), and “Jesus the son of Joseph” (John 6:42).

The life of Jesus on earth may be divided into two great periods, (1) his private life, till he was about thirty years of age; and (2) his public life, which lasted about three years.

In the “fulness of time” he was born at Bethlehem, in the reign of the emperor Augustus, of Mary, who was betrothed to Joseph, a carpenter (Matt. 1:1; Luke 3:23; compare John 7:42). His birth was announced to shepherds (Luke 2:8-20). Wise men from the east came to Bethlehem to see him who was born “King of the Jews,” bringing gifts with them (Matt. 2:1-12). Herod's cruel jealousy led to Joseph's flight into Egypt with Mary and the infant Jesus, where they waited till the death of this king (Matt. 2:13-23), when they returned and settled in Nazareth, in Lower Galilee (2:23; compare Luke 4:16; John 1:46, etc.). At the age of twelve years he went up to Jerusalem to the Passover with his parents. There, in the temple, “in the midst of the doctors,” all that heard him were “astonished at his understanding and answers” (Luke 2:41, etc.).

The BIBLE

Of His arrest and upcoming torture Jesus Christ said: “But all this has taken place that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples left him and fled. Matthew 26:56
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished“. Jesus Christ – Matthew 5:17-18
His Word is where our answers are found. Love God. Love one another.

The Baptism of Jesus

So Jesus Was baptised. And as soon as he came out of the water, the sky opened, and he saw the spirit of god coming down on him like a dove. Then a voice from heaven said " This is my dear Son, and I am pleased with Him".

Sesudah di Baptis Yesus segera keluar dari air dan pada waktu itu juga langit terbuka dan Ia melihat Roh Allah seperti burung Merpati turun keatasNya lalu terdengarlah suara dari Sorga yang mengatakan " inilah Anak yang Kukasihi, KepadaNyalah aku berkenan".
